Year 4 visit to Warriner School Farm

Year 4 enjoyed a visit to the Warriner School Farm at Bloxham, near Banbury, They interacted with different farm animals and were even allowed to feed hay to the goats, as well as trying their hand at milking a fake ‘goat’.

To illustrate how the food production starts on the farm and finishes on a fork, the children collected eggs, used them to make pancake batter, and finally cooked and ate the pancakes. Jamie, from Penguins said it was ‘fun and exciting’. Sylar and Kenzie from Penguins said the best part of the day was ‘eating the pancakes’.

Year 4 observed the 3Rs throughout the day and were a credit to the school.
