Year 2 Victorian Day

Year 2 have been finding out about timelines and have linked them to their own lives, as well as how teddy bears have changed since their invention.

We have been looking back at the Victorian era and learning about wash day and cooking in the past, as well as finding out about Victorian schools.

On Wednesday 10th October, we would like your child to come to school as ‘Victorian’ as possible. Girls wore plain long dresses with hair tied up. Boys often had a waistcoat and flat cap. We do not want you to purchase anything new, and hope you have items already at home, or can share between families. It is possible that most of the uniform they already wear to school will suit the day.
