This half term has flown by and we have been doing some AMAZING learning!!!!!

First of all we had 11 new children start this term and they have settled in really well. We have been helping them to be Ready, Respectful and Responsible.

Following on from our interest in Nursery rhymes last term we are now looking at traditional tales. We voted to start with the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears and have been taking part in lots of fun activities.

Writing descriptions of the 3 bears.
Tasting porridge with different toppings. Honey was definitely the favourite.
Making porridge for the bears

We had great fun celebrating Chinese New Year.

Drawing pictures of the animals in the story.
Drawing which animal came first, second and third in the story.
Tasting Chinese food.
Making a Chinese Dragon and doing some dragon dancing.

In Maths we have been doing lots of counting practice and using numbers in different activities. We are getting really good at recognising, ordering and counting numbers to 20. We have started watching Number Blocks for our whole class learning and counting by rote to 100.
