Mornings in KS1

8:45am – Move ‘n Groove

At the start of every morning the class teachers lead a short routine of dance and aerobics moves with each year group. This helps the children wake up, warm up and get ready for their learning that day.

Morning registration

Each class is registered in their classrooms at the start of the day.

Tools for English

Children work in smaller groups for phonics sessions. Phonics is taught through a variety of games, practical activities and writing tasks.
