Bringing RE to life

This week Year 4 has been learning about the Seder meal which is eaten by Jewish people during the Passover festival.

The children got to try charoset which is a mixture of apples, sugar, honey and cinnamon and represents sweet new beginnings. This was put onto crackers which represents unleavened bread as there was no time, before escaping from Egypt, for the Jewish people to let bread rise.
