There has been an air of excitement around the school this afternoon, as children in years four to six have begun their new performing and creative arts workshops today.  These will run for the next nine Wednesday afternoons, from 2.00 – 2.45, leading to a showcase event to show other children on the last week.

This is an important part of our Performing and Creative Arts programme, and aims to enhance the children’s creativity, collaboration, adaptability and resilience.  They are working in smaller, mixed-age groups, with the following workshops running this term:

  • ukuleles
  • quilling
  • ceramics
  • soft toy making
  • printing
  • Annie
  • book-making
  • zumba
  • nature collage
  • portrait collage
  • soap making
